Stars of David
This six pointed star is a generally recognized symbol of the Jewish Community. It is named after King David of ancient Israel; and its usage began in the Middle Ages. In 1897, it was adopted as the symbol for the First Zionist congress and in 1948, it became the central figure in the flag of the State of Israel.
